Commmunication port for TP balancer. Balancer tells charger how many cells in the battery (eliminates possibility of incorrectly set cell count causing fire). Balancer tells charger if any cell in battery is above 4.30V, and charger will then stop charging (eliminates possibility of imbalance causing fire). Balancer tells charger voltage of each cell, charger displays maximum absolute imbalance present in battery.
 
Features
  • Storage charge feature. If selected, charger will charge to 3.85v/cell, the optimum cell storage voltage.
  • Selectable full-charge voltage.
  • User selects 4.15v/cell (for long cell life) or 4.20v/cell (for maximum runtime and performance).
  • Size 160mm x 108mm x 47mm Comparable power Schulze charger, isl6-636, measures 207x151x68 (and costs $435). Comparable power Orbit charger, Pro, measures 160x140x50 (and costs $345)
